2009 ???????

Well with the NEW YEAR knocking on the door today, we are excited to proceed into 2009 with excitement and caution. From all of us at Premier Lawn Services, we would like to thank everybody for their business and we look forward to those new clients who will join us in 2009.

Are we glad to see you, we missed you. The last time we saw you was on March 31st 2008, I cant believe it you look great. I must say its a joy to have you around, Well come on in and stay a little bit maybe we could catch up on old times, you can stay with us for a little bit but then we gotta make some room for your friends. Spring said she was going to come visit first then summer would be on her way. she is going to come up from vacation. its a shame we dont have room for all three but I think its better, you three sometimes have issues with each other!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA

The holidays are here!!

Well, we are glad the holidays are here

the end of our mowing season is near,

With leaves falling and frost forming,

old man winter could be here any morning.

Okay so maybe I should write poetry instead.

well we are out these days bringing smiles to our clients faces.

in the form of holiday lighting,

I actually probably smile more, because I love the look of the chrismas season.

From rooftops to trees, I enjoy driving aroung looking at lights, I really like the ones I put up:)

My little girl love it as well she always says "look at the christmas lights daddy" or "look at the christmas tree"

I hope everybody has a good holiday season this year now as soon as the lights are up.

October Already?

I can't believe it's already October. Well as you may know you can turn your sprinklers down, many of my places are down to maybe once a week. you can always water dry spots by hand if needed. My house is currently being watering once a week. Plus did you know that now is a great time to Fertilize? Fall Fertilizing is great for your lawn, along with an Aeration , you can build a strong root system. That makes for a great lawn come spring!

Lawn Mower Tips

First off, are your blades sharp? Check your blades if they are not sharp you could be ripping the blades instead off cutting them, you will find a sharp blade gives a much nicer cut. If they are not sharp take them to get sharpend or call us we offer that service as well.

Check your oil before each time you mow you can never be to safe. Clean your air filter, check it often, its just good practice. When is the last time you changed the spark plug?

Just A reminder we are offering mobile detailing, give us a call we 494-7411 we offer a basic wash and wax for $52 the best part is you dont have to leave your house we come to you! dont have time during your lunch break to wash it? We can even come to your work place, refer somebody from work and we will take $10 off your detail, as we can do both while we are there.

Green Comfort

Okay, I enjoy every aspect of what I do, from mowing to weeding. The main reason for this is after I finish I admire my work, and think, "I hope my Client gets to enjoy sitting out side playing with the dogs or the kids or even the grandkids," or whatever they may do in their yards. My goal is for them to enjoy the landscape! We strive hard to make that happen. If any of our clients feel we are lacking in any services we are providing, please call us and let us know at 494-7411. I also wanted to say that last night I spent the evening outside playing with our new puppy and my lovely daughter. I just sat there for about ten minutes looking up at the cloudy sky and it was so relaxing. I must say thats what I mean by Green Comfort!

Cool Season

Well we can turn down the sprinklers now the weather has been real good, you can probably water 2 to 3 times a week depending on your soil condition. Now is a good time to Aerate the lawns as well. We are out Aerating and turning down the sprinklers, and we cant wait to start the fall clean ups and leaf removal.

Winter is coming up fast, and we want you to enjoy it like we do. Wether you like the snow or not there is so much fun to be had when it snows!!! I like to Snowmobile, if you enjoy it but dont want to worry about making sure the walks get plowed then call us at 494-7411 until then enjoy this video...

Old Mowers?

No, Im not talking about old men mowing lawns. Although that would be interesting to get ahold of some pictures of that, I will be one of those old men mowing, farther down the road.

We are basically looking for some old lawn mowers that dont run or that you just dont want. Now why would I want those you ask? well if they are running then we can give them to some familys whose mowers break and cant afford a new one or just need a better one. The ones we cant get running we can take to be recycled.

We also recycle cans and are going to start newspaper recycling, we will come pick up both of these items from your house for a small monthly fee mainly the fee is for the daily newspapers, unless you drink alot of soda or other canned drinks we usually dont pick up the cans very often maybe once every three months or so depending on your usage.

We also want to give a shout out to all the soldiers and their familys on this anniversary of 9-11. I know we all enjoy our FREEDOM so lets remember who fought for us and are still fighting for that right. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS

Hot days of Summer

Premier sure is glad its not raining anymore, but it sure is getting hot. You can start turning your sprinklers on a little more if it looks dry. We recommend checkingt your system first to make sure all your sprinklers are covering good, sometimes you may think a spot is getting water but it still looks dry, but it may not be getting as much water as the rest of the lawn. We recommend putting cups in the yard to see just how much water the dry spot is getting compared to the rest of the lawn. Usually its just a simple adjustment of the sprinkler.

Windy weather hits again.

Well today started off great, the weather was good, but as the day moved on it got real windy. We worked in the south utah county area today and around 1:oo pm or so it started getting bad then from 3:00 pm on it was just out right windy. Now this is no fun you see, we wear safety glasses and when its that windy it just blows the grass clippings every which way and it gets in your eyes. If anyone who is reading this see's a summer gnome please contact us we would love to see how many are out there if you have picture's please send them to us, contact us for the email address. Well this might sound crazy but we are starting to gear up for the 2008/2009 snow removal season, I know its June but we want to be ready, and be the best snow removal company out there.

Is Summer finally arriving?

It sure was a good day for both of Premier's crews today, we finished all our lawns and we were excited that the weather was good! however we may be expecting rain later this week on Wednesday, I believe summer is around the corner though. how do I know this you ask? Well today I saw the Summer Solstice Gnome, I caught a brief glimpse of him doing his Summer Solstice Dance...... Now some of you may be asking, are you for real? Just check out the picture I took!!!!!!

Rainy Days

Well the rain has been hard for us. It seems to have rained at least once a week for the last four weeks, and I believe we are expecting more on Monday or Tuesday. One good thing about the rain is that it sure has made the lawns green!!!

This picture was actually taken on April 15 2008. We were aerating lawns in Santaquin. I just had to post this it is funny, my crew thought i was crazy for still working in the snow!
